Mid-February Update

After our short thaw, we again have snow on the ground and getting more as I write. We did have a few days without the white stuff but just as the sidewalks clear, we get another blast of winter.

 Praise Him for:

We got to spend a few days in Vienna with friends. Unfortunately, we had to head back 2 days early because Jonah came down with a stomach bug. Fortunately though, it seems to have contained itself to just Jonah.

Logan came into the family 8 years ago on the 21st. He has been such a blessing and a handful! He wanted to celebrate with bowling and strawberry cake before the vacation was over, so we will be celebrating him tomorrow.

M&LPritt’s internet issues have been resolved now after a couple weeks of problems. They are now able to take care of work and school issues from their living room! We praise Him even in the small things!

Please intercede for:

J and S., a German worker will be traveling and attending a training meeting near Dusseldorf from Monday to Thursday. Pr*y for safe travel for them (they will drive) and many other national workers who will be attending this training. Also, intercede that the meeting will be both informative and useful for implementing among the Germanic people.

The Bensons received somewhat expected but discouraging news. The kindergarten their children are set to attend has not been finished and the children will not be able to begin until April. Continue to lift the family up as they juggle childcare, language class and all their other responsibilities.

C has been asked to teach an advanced English class for the elementary school the younger boys attend. It would be just one hour a week, after school, for 3rd and 4th graders. Pr*y for her as she must make a decision this week and if she agrees, that it will be a good opportunity to meet parents and develop relationships with families in the school.
