We have had a busy start to 2013. The calendar is full and getting fuller. I wish February looked calmer, but it is filling up, too! The children will have 2 weeks off from school next month so that is something to look forward to! It has been a cold but dry couple of weeks.
Praise Him for:
Matthew and Lauren Pritt got moved into their apartment, bought a few things to help make it “home” and should be getting a washing machine and cell phones in the next few days to help round out their “necessities”.
The Bensons received their crate and have a couple weeks to “settle in” and set up house a little.
Jonah and Ashlyn Dietz loved their time at their MK retreat. They both came home very tired and worn out but say it was well worth the lack of sleep. Neither one had too much make-up work either, which was a blessing.
Please intercede for:
The Dietz household has been sharing a cold around. (The one the older two brought home from MKR.) Please lift up Jason as he is leaving Fri. for a weekend planning trip with the ch*rch and doesn’t want to feel badly the whole weekend. Jason, the p*stor and the leader of a ch*rch plant will be meeting with the leadership of the B*ptist ch*rch this weekend to present the idea of getting the established ch*rch to practice being simple, organic groups all over town this year. The hope is that the ch*rch will be strengthened but also for ch*rch plants to occur around town. Pr*y that it will be clearly presented and embraced.
The Benson’s are having difficulty acquiring a European birth cert. for Titus that is needed for them to get their visas. Pr*y that they can find the right person/agency to get the required document.
The Pritts are having difficulty getting a visa appointment. Intercede that whatever the problem is can be quickly resolved and they can get their apptmnt. soon.
This Sunday, the ch*rch plant will be launching a new group as we have grown too large for the houses we have been meeting in. Pr*y that the new group will be strong and that both groups will be able to continue to reach people.
Clear and focused minds, plenty of rest and patience for both the Bensons and Pritts as they attend German classes.
