September 1

I had hoped to get this out on the 1st so you could remember our kids on their first day of school, but in making sure we had what we needed and preparing for school, I didn’t get it out. Today is day 2 of school and I can breathe a little and write.

Praise Him for:

A good first day of school. Although we didn’t know what classrooms the 2 younger boys were in, we did find them, meet the teachers and get the boys settled. They both came home saying they had made friends and liked their teachers. This school is very large compared to the schools they have attended before, so we are having to adjust and learn a lot of new things. Every school does things differently.

A good, potential apartment for the Bensons. We found a place not too far from us that they like and is very nice. We have begun paperwork and are waiting to hear if they have been approved.

A good ending to the house in Graz!!!! Another family did move in, releasing us from the contract and we got almost all of our deposit back. This is a huge answer to pr*yer!

Please intercede for:

The apartment we found for the Bensons. Intercede that we will be accepted by the owners and that the paperwork and payment process goes smoothly. Also, that it will be a great place for them and that they can make friends in the building.

The Pritts. They are a young couple coming to Dresden in January with the Journeyman program. They will be attending training in Virginia in October- December. Lift them up as they make plans to come over, the goodbyes that must be said, the packing up of belongings and all the preparations that must be made to move overseas for 2 years.

Jason, along with several other leaders in Germany and Austria will be traveling to Vienna to attend a training weekend and get together for meetings. Pr*y for safe travel and good fellowship for the men and women and for their families at home that miss them.
