Spring has sprung! It has been just beautiful the last few days with temperatures in the 60’s and lots of sun. We have put away the heavy coats and need only a jacket in the mornings. Spring is my favorite season of the year, time for the rebirth of the trees and flowers and the resurrection of our L*ord!
Praise Him for:
All the kids received their grades and despite a few lackluster ones, most of the kids did really well.
Logan, had a great party, got just what he wanted and we all spent an entire day with friends, just enjoying the time of fellowship!
We had a good week off from school with nothing to do. It was a nice time to relax and enjoy some family time together. Just as we finished up, Jason headed out on a training trip and this week things have been much smoother than the last time Jason left for several days. He will return late tonight (if he makes all his connections)!
Please intercede for:
A new B*ble study has started here with several believers and non-believing English speakers. Pr*y for those attending and that others interested in the study will form another German speaking group. Pr*y also for a leader to rise up and take the study over when we and the other family here return to Dresden and the U.S. this summer.
We must email the older kids’ grades to the school in Dresden to see if they will allow the kids to return. With Jonah’s passing grades and missed classes (they don’t offer some of the classes here that Jonah would have taken in Dresden) it may be difficult to get him into the same class. Pr*y for favor at the school.
Caedon (our melancholy kid), 9, is struggling with making friends at school. He plays alone much of the time and doesn’t feel like he has any real friends. Intercede that he can find at least one friend to help make the last 4 months of school better. Remember also, as we think ahead to the return to Dresden. We will need to decide whether to return him to his previous school or let him finish his last year of grade school in another school. There are several factors in play and we will update with more as the time approaches.
